Evangelism Tip #4: “My Card”

How many times a week does someone ask you for your phone number, email address, or a website url? You probably grab the nearest scrap of paper and ink out your info on it before handing it off to your friend. They take the paper, stick it in their pocket, and later they will pull it out to retrieve the information on it. But what if it weren’t a scrap of paper you put the info on, but a Gospel tract? It would be a Gospel tract that they would be pulling out of their pocket or purse later and find that there was more than just a phone number on inscribed on this paper, but the words of eternal life (John 6:68). This is a very handy and non-threatening way to put a Gospel tract in someone’s possession. Stop by the 'Evangelism Counter" in the church book store this Sunday and pick-up a few tracts and carry them with you for the next time someone asks for your number.
