Noah the Evangelist

Last Friday night my wife, Amanda, and our kids, Noah (9), Levi (6), and Chloe (6 mo.) joined up with two of the guys from our church, Jarod and Brett, to do some evangelism on Grand Ave in Escondido. This time of year there is a classic car show along Grand. That night we found people just did not seem to want to take out tracts. Usually Jarod and I are going though packs of tracts at a rapid rate at this event. After about an hour of walking the street we all meet up at a corner and began to talk. I asked Noah if he would like to hand out tracts. He said, "yes." I told him that written on them was the Good News that Jesus saves sinners. With great enthusiasm he began to hand them out. He would take a step towards a passer-byer and say, "Here ya go," and extend a hand to them with a tracts in it. Almost everyone took a tract from him! We watched as people not only took the tract but would take a few steps away and began to read it. WOW! He want through about 70 tracts so Jarod gave him some more but of a different type. It made no matter, Noah quickly distributed them as fast as the others. When he finished I knelt down to get level with Noah and right there I told him that God may have used him tonight to save someone from the dangers of Hell. He was sooo excited!

Ok, so for those of you who have never read my blog, don't know me or my family, or have just forgotten, Noah, the 9 year old boy of mine that was boldly handing out Gospel tracts to strangers on the sidewalk . . . is autistic. Yes, Noah has autism, a learning disability. Yet Noah was being used by God that night to pass out pieces of paper that contained the Gospel message on it. So, what hinders you from proclaiming to the Lost the Greatest News ever about the Greatest One ever, Jesus Christ, Lord of the Universe?
